To: TAMM Members & Friends                     February 5, 2009 

In light of the seriousness of the current economic situation, and in recognition of the financial pressures on all of our members to limit or curtail travel, TAMM has decided not to conduct an Annual Conference this year.  The Board of Directors felt this was the most prudent action to take based on economic conditions, and that this decision would be welcomed and in the best interests of our members.  Therefore, the April 29-May 1, 2009 meeting in Charleston has been suspended.  Any meeting registrations received will be returned.

TAMM, however, will continue to move forward.  Our web site will be maintained and active.  The monthly email newsletter with important and timely information for the industry will continue.  And the Board has authorized us to enter into arrangements for resumption of the Annual Conference next year, tentatively back in Charleston at The Mills House. 

We hope you understand and concur with this action, and we look forward to seeing you next year.
